Standardized Testing

Odyssey Charter School uses clearly defined multiple methods to ensure reliability, validity, and freedom from bias in the data collected to measure student performance. In addition, we use the school's data system to assist in the improvement process to review data, evaluate and refine common outcomes. Currently Odyssey Charter School Jr/Sr uses the following assessments for data collection on student performance:

1. State-mandated F.A.S.T. Assessments (6th-10th ELA, 6th-8th Math), EOCs in Algebra, Geometry, Civics, U.S. History, and Biology, the Florida Civic Literacy Examination (FCLE), and the 8th grade Science State Assessment (SSA).

2. Other mandatory assessments such as Advanced Placement Assessments and Industry Certification Assessments.

3. National assessments such as PSAT, SAT, ACT, and WIDA Access (English Language Learners).

4. Curriculum Aligned Assessments such as Progress Learning, Momentum Math, Read 180, and StudySync Benchmark Assessments.
